1980 SELMER Mark VI Soprano Saxophone, high F#, stripped, 308xxx
When playing this Mark VI Soprano, I immediately noticed the beautiful dark timbre. Maybe it’s because the Saxophone has been completely stripped. The previous owner also had the lacquer directly stripped as part of the general overhaul. After the overhaul, the Saxophone was not played much, the pads are accordingly new. Despite metal resonators, this Soprano Sax sounds nice and warm and soft, and the overtone development when playing more openly is discreet and not intrusive.
Thanks to the high F# key, this Mark VI Soprano Saxophone is also suitable for classical music. And naturally also for Jazz and other genres.
In addition to the Mark VI Soprano Saxophones presented on our website, we usually have 5-10 other Mark VI Soprano Saxophones in stock.
Feel free to contact us for an appointment to try out and compare. We look forward to seeing you!
