  • 1935 SELMER Balanced Action Alto Saxophone, one of the first… 21xxx

Henri SELMER Paris officially introduced the then evolutionary “Balanced Action” to the public in 1936. The first Balanced Action alto saxophones had already been developed and built parallel to the production of the “SELMER Super Sax”.

Series production of the new model had not yet started in 1935 and so this very early SELMER Balanced Action was still very elaborately built in terms of the mechanics.

In terms of sound, the proximity to the SELMER Super Sax -Radio Improved- is recognizable and fans of the oldstyle sound of the 1930s will certainly have a lot of fun with this special SELMER Balanced Action alto saxophone.

Feel free to try it out in our store. We are looking forward to seeing you. Or order it from our web shop, if you prefer to test it in the comfort of your home.
